Matthew's passion for motorsport propelled him into competitive racing, including selection for the prestigious Red Bull Rookies program in 2012.

Starting his journey competitively in 2011 and gaining invaluable racing experience through the Red Bull Rookies Program (2012), Matthew developed an obsession with mastering advanced driving techniques—forming a solid foundation for his coaching philosophy.

In 2014, driven by a desire to mentor and develop drivers, Matthew founded Grip Academy. Since then, he's dedicated his career to helping countless drivers discover their full potential, blending personalized training with real-world racing experience.

As a key member of the organising crew for the Singapore Touring Car Challenge 2025, Matthew refined his comprehensive understanding of motorsports events from the inside out. This expertise ensures that students receive training that's not just technically precise but strategically informed—fully preparing them for competitive driving and track success.
